There’s a little more than a month until NaNo starts.  I know everytime something like NaNo or Script Frenzy comes around, I say I’m going to keep posting updates and stuff, but this year, I think I really want to try.  The website was relaunched a few days earlier than expected, and I’m hoping that this year will be fun and less stressful than last year.  Not that I didn’t have fun last year, because I did, but I also had a lot more going on last year, than I do this year.  Wish me luck this year.

I wish it were November.  Unfortunately, it’s not, but I am starting to get ready for the insanity known as NaNoWriMo.  I have a couple of story ideas already, but I’m not sure which one I’ll go with.  And, as ML for San Diego, I’m starting to come up with a few ideas for the kick-off and TGIO parties.  

Yes, the idea of writing a novel in a month is insane, but it’s such an amazing experience, especially when it’s just hours from midnight, and you have a few thousand words to write.  But the fact that there are thousands of other people doing the same thing, is pretty cool.  And knowing that I can write a novel in a month (no matter how terribly written it is) gives me a pretty big sense of accomplishment.
